OCTOBER OUTFIT DIARIES

Helloooo!
It has been a VERY long time since we posted on here; but we're back with a little post linked with a video to ease us back into blogging!

We have decided to start a little October series called 'October Outfit Diaries'. We are aware that a few other people have done things like this but we thought it would be a really good series for us to do as we don't really have as much of the fashion side of us on our channel as we'd like. These videos are really fun to film and we really enjoy getting creative with the editing of them as well.

So for the first video in this series we took a drive down to Worthing sea front which is down the coast from Brighton. We decided to film there as its a lot quieter than Brighton sea front. We went in the evening so we could have the sunset in our video - we also took the opportunity to go for dinner in Worthing's ASK Italian after we filmed as well. YUM.

Here's a few pictures we took whilst filming:

Details to our outfit are in the down bar of the video.

And here's the video!
So that's it for today's post, thank you so much for reading and let us know what you think!
Please subscribe to our channel to be notified when we next upload,
Until next time,

Book Review: The Divergent Series!

So this is my first blog post all by myself...pretty scary! So before i start i'm just going to warn you, i'm not very good at writing, i'm an awful speller (so expect more than a few spelling mistakes along the way) but i do love reading. So i'm writing a review today of my favorite book series. Hope you enjoy.

So i'm pretty sure everyone must of heard of the Divergent series by now; if not where have you been?! So basically its a young adult, sci-fi romance written by Veronica Roth based on a young girl named Beatrice 'Tris' Prior who is trying to find herself in a city that categorizes peoples personalities into five different factions.  These are
Abnigation; the selfless
Amity; the kind
Eurdite; the intelligent
candor; the honest
and dauntless; the brave.
She struggles to find what faction she fits into but at the same time she has to try to stay alive. However during initiation to the faction she chooses she falls in love with her trainer; four and through out the 3 main books of the series you follow their relationship as the grow and battle to survive together. However during the fourth book we get to take a look into Fours past.

Divergent
Divergent is the first book in the series and personally my favorite. Although it is set in the future and the life style is very different to what any of us live the main character Tris is very relate-able i'm sure to the majority of teens. In this book we watch as she struggles to find her true identity and overcome fears. Shes a very inspiring character and defiantly a very strong one. The book is packed full of twists and turns which i'm not going to spoil but it is defiantly a very exciting read. But i can't forget Four of course, he is Tris's love interest, Four is Tris's trainer during initiation and helps her to survive. He's there when ever she needs him and that's what i love about this book its a very real romance and not rushed like a lot of other books. But i'm not going to give anything else away you should read it to find out! Over all i would give this book a 10/10 how could i not? Honestly it is my favorite book out of the many that i have read.

Insurgent
I have to say insurgent is my least favorite of all the books, its still amazing but honestly there is just too much going on that it becomes almost hard to follow. Its in this book where Tris and Four have some relationship difficulties and honestly i think it spoils part of the book. There are so many turns with her family involving Euritdie but again i don't want to spoil anything. Insurgent is probably the most action packed of the books. However i do think it is still defiantly worth the read but could have been better. I would give this book a 8/10.

Allegiant
I have such a love hate relationship with Allegiant, i love the plot, i love the story, i love how Four and Tris's relationship develops but i can't cope with the ending. But then i think that there would be no alternative ending that would never match up. I honestly thought about the ending for weeks afterwards as i could just not get over it. This book made me laugh, cry and honestly just feel more emotions than i even knew i had. If a book can do that it must be great right? I would give this book a 9.5/10.

Four a divergent collection
This book was an extra addition to the series as it was just supposed to be a trilogy. But to be honest i wouldn't say it is the fourth part. It is made up of a collection of short stories from fours perspective. It goes back through his past; before he even met Tris right up until the moment he realized that he was in love with her. I love this book and find it so interesting that we get to see his past and find out why he is the way he is as we never really got to do that before. Again i wont be giving anything away but i would give this one a 9/10.

There is now a film of Divergent and the Insurgent film is on its way. In the films Tris is played by Shailene Woodley and Four is played by Theo James. I love their on (and off) screen chemistry. A lot of people aren't that pleased with how the divergent film turned out compared to the books because the missed a few parts out but to be honest i love the film just as much as the book and understand that it can be extremely difficult to interpret every little element from a pretty long book into a two hour film and they done a pretty great job of doing so. Over all i would give the film a 10/10 as i loved every minute of it.

I know i haven't mentioned a lot about the books and a lot of the characters honestly because i dont want to give anything away but i really hope you enjoyed this review and go and read the books and watch the film you won't regret it! Until next time..

FeelUnique.com Haul & Review

Hey guys!

So as you can see by the title, this post is going to be a haul and reviews but before I get into it I’m going to give my overall opinion of my experience of shopping with feelunique.com.

So… I placed my order on Saturday the 6th of September, choosing the free standard delivery option which I qualified for as my order was over £10 - which is stated to be 3-7 days. It says on the website orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours. A week had passed and I had still not received the parcel, not even an email telling me it has been dispatched. I was obviously wondering why my package hasn’t even been dispatched a week after placing my order, bearing in mind they took the money out my bank the same day I placed the order; so I started searching the internet and browsing through their FAQS on their website. All I found was stories of people never receiving their parcels and some ‘FAQS’ that didn’t answer my questions. I decided to leave a query just asking when my order will be dispatched; I ordered it a week ago etc.  The day after I left this query I got an email telling me my order has been dispatched and will take 3-7 days to come, there was also a link to track my parcel, which didn’t work. My delivery came on Thursday the 18th of September; 12 days after I placed my order online. Everything I ordered was in there but the website says you get free samples with all orders over £30 – which mine was. There was none in there. But who knows when I would have got my order if I didn’t leave that query! I don’t think I would ever use FeelUnique.com again. Although I did get some good deals as they were having a massive sale – but there are some very similar websites I will use next time which do similar deals.

ANYWAAAYSSS, into the hauling and reviewing!

Kate Moss Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick – Shade 16
I absolutely love this lipstick! It may look like a really vibrant pink in the photo but it’s not that bright on the lips; it comes out a really cute subtle matte pink which is great for everyday use and goes with everything! This is my second lipstick in the Kate Moss range. These lipsticks honestly last all day! I have never tried a lipstick like this before! I also think the packaging is so chic as it’s so simple plus the black and pink go really well together. The only thing I’m not so keen on with these lipsticks is that they have a really strong perfume smell. I bought this lipstick for £4.45 (usually £5.49) which is amazing value for money! I’m going to be investing in some more very soon! I would rate this product overall a 9/10.

Burt’s Bees Beeswax Duo
This is such a cute little set, perfect for a gift! I LOVE BURT’S BEES PRODUCTS! Everything I have tried from this brand is amazing! In this set you get a beeswax lip balm and a pot of hand salve. The lip balm I have used before and is incredible; it makes your lips so moisturized and gives like a tingling sensation when you first apply it – which I love. This lip balm smells of peppermint and has vitamin E in it. This was my first time trying the hand salve and I do really like it. It’s hard to describe the texture of it, it’s not a cream. The texture reminds me of a Lush massage bar. It’s also hard to describe the smell of the hand salve but I do like the smell. It is really moisturizing and works well. It’s a small tin, perfect handbag size. Everything is 100% natural which I totally LOVE! I bought this duo for £3.51 (usually £5.99, so I got a good deal!). Overall I would rate this product a 10/10.

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss - Champagne Toast
Yes, I’m a bit late on the bandwagon as this is my first Tanya Burr product. This product was on sale for £3.46 (usually £6.99) so I thought I’d try one, I probably wouldn’t have got one if it wasn’t on offer as I’m not much of a lip gloss wearer so I didn’t want to spend that much on a lip gloss I probably won’t wear that often. They didn’t have every colour in stock otherwise I would have probably got a different shade but I do like the colour of this lip gloss. I really liked the packaging as you never really see a lip gloss come in a packet; usually it’s literally just the tube. So after I ripped off the packaging, I twisted open the tube and had a sniff (I’m sure I’m not the only person who smells their lip products! Haha) and oh my gosh, this stuff smells AMAZING! It literally smells like sweets. The colour of Champagne Toast is a peachy colour with little bits of glitter in it. On the lips I find this peachy tone doesn’t appear and it just shows up as a glossy shimmer with the glitter. I was slightly disappointed as I have heard a lot of hype about these glosses but maybe it’s just the shade I got although if you like lip glosses which just add a shine to your lips this would be a good one to use. This lip gloss lasts me about 2 hours without re-applying which is fairly long. I think I will use this gloss as a top coat for matte lipsticks. Overall I would give this product a 5/10.

Rimmel London Clear Complexion Powder – Transparent
This was a re-purchase as my current one is running low. This is my favourite powder to use and so in-expensive. This powder doesn’t give the ‘caked in makeup’ look, which obviously no one wants! I love that it’s transparent so it doesn’t make you look orange and you don’t have to debate on what one matches your skin tone.  This product uses natural minerals which is always good! There’s not really much to say about this product really but I do like it a lot! I purchased this product for £3.24 (usually £3.99). Overall I would rate this product a 10/10.

Marc Jacobs Daisy – Eau So Fresh 125ml
Last but not least my favourite product from my order, my Marc Jacobs Perfume! I was super excited for this to come as I have wanted this perfume for AGES! I absolute love this perfume! The smell is a fresh fruity yet florally smell. I’m not very good at describing smells so here’s what the description says: ‘Its light, woody base infuses a subtle but sharp glimmer of musk for an unexpected twist of radiance. The bottle is so pretty! I love the lid. The liquid is slightly tinted pink. I think this bottle of 125ml will last me a very long time! The smell lasts all day which is brilliant. I paid £48.60 for this product (usually £71.50, bagging myself an INCREDIBLE deal!) I wouldn’t have purchased this product if it wasn’t on offer.  I would rate this product a 10/10.

So that’s all for my haul and review post! I really hoped you enjoyed reading it; I really enjoyed writing it for you!
Until next time,
