Hey guys!
So as you can see by the title, this post is going to be a
haul and reviews but before I get into it I’m going to give my overall opinion of my
experience of shopping with feelunique.com.
So… I placed my order on Saturday the 6th of
September, choosing the free standard delivery option which I qualified for as
my order was over £10 - which is stated to be 3-7 days. It says on the website
orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours. A week had passed and I had
still not received the parcel, not even an email telling me it has been
dispatched. I was obviously wondering why my package hasn’t even been
dispatched a week after placing my order, bearing in mind they took the money
out my bank the same day I placed the order; so I started searching the
internet and browsing through their FAQS on their website. All I found was
stories of people never receiving their parcels and some ‘FAQS’ that didn’t
answer my questions. I decided to leave a query just asking when my order will
be dispatched; I ordered it a week ago etc.
The day after I left this query I got an email telling me my order has
been dispatched and will take 3-7 days to come, there was also a link to track
my parcel, which didn’t work. My delivery came on Thursday the 18th of
September; 12 days after I placed my order online. Everything I ordered was in
there but the website says you get free samples with all orders over £30 –
which mine was. There was none in there. But who knows when I would have got my
order if I didn’t leave that query! I don’t think I would ever use
FeelUnique.com again. Although I did get some good deals as they were having a
massive sale – but there are some very similar websites I will use next time
which do similar deals.
ANYWAAAYSSS, into the hauling and reviewing!

Kate Moss Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick – Shade 16
Burt’s Bees Beeswax Duo
This is such a cute little set, perfect for a gift! I LOVE
BURT’S BEES PRODUCTS! Everything I have tried from this brand is amazing! In
this set you get a beeswax lip balm and a pot of hand salve. The lip balm I have
used before and is incredible; it makes your lips so moisturized and gives like
a tingling sensation when you first apply it – which I love. This lip balm
smells of peppermint and has vitamin E in it. This was my first time trying the
hand salve and I do really like it. It’s hard to describe the texture of it, it’s
not a cream. The texture reminds me of a Lush massage bar. It’s also hard to
describe the smell of the hand salve but I do like the smell. It is really moisturizing
and works well. It’s a small tin, perfect handbag size. Everything is 100%
natural which I totally LOVE! I bought this duo for £3.51 (usually £5.99, so I got
a good deal!). Overall I would rate this product a 10/10.
Tanya Burr Lip Gloss - Champagne Toast
Yes, I’m a bit late on the bandwagon as this is my first
Tanya Burr product. This product was on sale for £3.46 (usually £6.99) so I thought
I’d try one, I probably wouldn’t have got one if it wasn’t on offer as I’m not
much of a lip gloss wearer so I didn’t want to spend that much on a lip gloss I
probably won’t wear that often. They didn’t have every colour in stock
otherwise I would have probably got a different shade but I do like the colour
of this lip gloss. I really liked the packaging as you never really see a lip gloss
come in a packet; usually it’s literally just the tube. So after I ripped off
the packaging, I twisted open the tube and had a sniff (I’m sure I’m not the
only person who smells their lip products! Haha) and oh my gosh, this stuff
smells AMAZING! It literally smells like sweets. The colour of Champagne Toast
is a peachy colour with little bits of glitter in it. On the lips I find this
peachy tone doesn’t appear and it just shows up as a glossy shimmer with the
glitter. I was slightly disappointed as I have heard a lot of hype about these
glosses but maybe it’s just the shade I got although if you like lip glosses
which just add a shine to your lips this would be a good one to use. This lip
gloss lasts me about 2 hours without re-applying which is fairly long. I think I
will use this gloss as a top coat for matte lipsticks. Overall I would give
this product a 5/10.

Rimmel London Clear Complexion Powder – Transparent
This was a re-purchase as my current one is running low. This
is my favourite powder to use and so in-expensive. This powder doesn’t give the
‘caked in makeup’ look, which obviously no one wants! I love that it’s transparent
so it doesn’t make you look orange and you don’t have to debate on what one
matches your skin tone. This product
uses natural minerals which is always good! There’s not really much to say
about this product really but I do like it a lot! I purchased this product for
£3.24 (usually £3.99). Overall I would rate this product a 10/10.
Marc Jacobs Daisy – Eau So Fresh 125ml
Last but not least my favourite product from my order, my
Marc Jacobs Perfume! I was super excited for this to come as I have wanted this
perfume for AGES! I absolute love this perfume! The smell is a fresh fruity yet
florally smell. I’m not very good at describing smells so here’s what the
description says: ‘Its light, woody base
infuses a subtle but sharp glimmer of musk for an unexpected twist of radiance.’ The bottle is so
pretty! I love the lid. The liquid is slightly tinted pink. I think this bottle
of 125ml will last me a very long time! The smell lasts all day which is brilliant.
I paid £48.60 for this product (usually £71.50, bagging myself an INCREDIBLE
deal!) I wouldn’t have purchased this product if it wasn’t on offer. I would rate this product a 10/10.
So
that’s all for my haul and review post! I really hoped you enjoyed reading it; I
really enjoyed writing it for you!
Until
next time,
Shannon
